Resources for Pet Owners

Who doesn't like a break every once in a while? Here you'll find nice little places that offer great services at an affordable price. It's important to take proper care of any pet. If you want more information on any resource, let us know and we'll get back to you! Also, if you know of something that could be beneficial to others, let us know and we'll post it.  We can all achieve more if we work together for the sake of our companion animals.

This spreadsheet is a list of all veterinary clinics and boarding facilities in the Acadiana area.

Microchipping

Microchipping is a great way to protect your pet. Once inserted under the skin, it can be scanned and traced back to you should your pet lose its way. Veterinarians and Animal Control Centers can scan the pet for a microchip that is linked to a registry. Pets adopted from animal control centers are microchipped prior to adoption. This service is available to the public through your veterinarian and costs usually vary. Ask your vet if they offer this service today!
